What Oklahoma asks for
RN/LPN – 24 CE hours are one option for meeting continuing qualifications. Other options include 520 hours of qualifying employment, current nursing specialty certification, a Board-approved refresher course, or 6 academic semester hours of nursing coursework. APRN – with prescriptive authority: 24 CE hours and complete 15 contact hours in pharmacotherapeutics, covering clinical application and use of pharmacological agents, and 2 contact hours in pain management or opioid use/addiction in each renewal cycle
