What West Virginia asks for
RN – 24 contact hours APRN –24 contact hours and 12 hours of pharmacology LPN – 24 contact hours and 2 hours on conditions common to veterans and their families, 2-hour one-time requirement for newly licensed LPNs on End-of-Life/Pain Management Newly licensed RNs may request a waiver of the 3-hour prescribing/drug-diversion requirement if they did not prescribe, administer, or dispense controlled substances during their first year. CE compliance is tracked through CE Broker and may be audits
