What Virginia asks for
RN/LPN - 30 CE hours are not mandatory if another Board-approved continuing-competency option is completed. Other options include national specialty certification, academic education, refresher courses, research/publication, or qualifying teaching activities. Options cannot be combined APRN – if prescriptive authority, 8 hours of pharmacology
