What Texas asks for
RN – 20 contact hours, including 2 hours of jurisprudence & Ethics, 2 hours human trafficking (one time course), 2 hours older and geriatric care, 2 hours forensic evidence collection one time course LVN – 20 contact hours, including 2 hours of jurisprudence & Ethics, 2 hours older and geriatric care, 2 hours forensic evidence collection one time course APRN - 20 contact hours and 2 hours of jurisprudence & Ethics, 2 hours human trafficking (one time course), 2 hours older and geriatric care, 2 hours forensic evidence collection one time course.5 additional hours on Pharmacotherapeutics if prescriptive authority and add 2 hours annually if prescribing opioids.
