What Rhode Island asks for
RN – 10 contact hours, 2 hours on substance abuse LPN – 10 contact hours, 2 hours on substance abuse, one time 1 hour on Alzheimer’s/dementia APRN – 10 contact hours, 2 hours on substance abuse, one-time 1 hour on Alzheimer’s/dementia, prescriptive authority: 30 hours every 6 years.
