What Iowa asks for
RN - 36 CE hours every 3 years. Nurses who care for children or dependent adults: 2 contact hours on abuse-reporting training. Mandatory Reporters | Health & Human Services Nurses serving both populations must complete both courses, APRN – 36 hours every 3 years. APRNs who care for children or dependent adults: 2 contact hours on abuse-reporting training. Mandatory Reporters | Health & Human Services. ARNs with prescriptive authority who prescribe opioids: 2 contact hours on CDC opioid-prescribing guidelines, which count toward the 36 hours. LPN - 36 CE hours every 3 years.
