What Connecticut asks for
RN - 2 hours with one hour on a mental health condition. LPN - 2 hours on mental health APRN – 50 hours every two years, includes 5 hours in pharmacology. 1 hour in substance abuse/pain management. 1 hour each in diseases (including AIDS/HIV), risk management, sexual assault, domestic violence, and cultural competency. 2 hours in veteran’s mental health every 6 years
