Alzheimer's Disease and Other Forms of Dementia — 1 contact hour; Suicide Prevention — 2 contact hours (1 in general; and 1 in chronic toxic stress); Domestic Violence — 3 contact hours; Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma — 1.5 contact hours; LPN Infusion Therapy — Complete a course in infusion therapy that meets the criteria in 201 KAR 20:490 (no hour count stated). These are one-time requirements; once completed they do not need to be repeated.
Required courses
RN/LPN: 14 contact hours annually, including applicable suicide-prevention and implicit-bias training. Kentucky also has one-time requirements concerning domestic violence and pediatric abusive head trauma. The exact applicability/timing should be retained when presenting the course requirements.
