CE Broker, explained without the jargon

CE Broker is a reporting system some boards use to receive continuing education records directly from approved providers. When your state participates, you generally do not enter hours by hand — the provider transmits them.

Two things still go wrong. First, name and license number mismatches: if your license record says Maria A. Alvarez and your course profile says Mari Alvarez, the submission can bounce. Second, timing: submission is not instant acceptance, and a queued record is not a reported record.

That is why our reporting center shows a real status for every completion — queued, submitted, accepted, failed, retrying or needs review — with the external submission ID when the state returns one.

For states that do not use electronic reporting, you keep your certificates and self-report at renewal. Our export gives you one clean file with every completion, hours and date.
